Scheduling Information All new patient visits need to be scheduled by a Sonoma Roots staffer, at this time. Return visit can be made online or by calling Sonoma Roots.
Please note that established naturopathic patients are those who have been seen by our naturopathic doctor for consultation within the last three years. Patients who have not been in three years will need to re-establish naturopathic care with a new patient visit.
New Patient Paperwork All new patient paperwork, for each specific service will be sent directly to our patients through their account in our patient portal. Please fill out and submit prior to initial service.
What To Bring To First Visit With Dr. Danielle Please bring current supplements and medications to the first visit. If you have recent blood work results, please bring to the first visit or submit them after completing the new patient electronic paperwork. If unable to obtain recent laboratory or imaging reports, Dr. Danielle can provide the forms to submit to other health care providers.
Telemedicine / virtual Visits Telemedicine visits will be conducted virtually through our patient portal. Please sign in and wait in the virtual waiting room until Dr. Danielle starts the visit.
Policies & Procedures at Sonoma Roots Natural Medicine:
Cancellation & Rescheduling Procedures Cancellations and rescheduled naturopathic visits and IV Therapy services must be made 24 hours in advance or cancellation fees will apply. Naturopathic consultations & IV services will be charged the rate of the booked service fee if not given a 24-hour cancellation notice. Rescheduling or canceling a visit may be made online or by calling Sonoma Roots. Credit card information will be collected at the time of booking for new patient naturopathic and IV services. Appointment Confirmation Procedures Confirmation of appointments will be made at the time of booking via the email address provided. Additional confirmations will be sent out 24 hours prior to the scheduled visit via text message reminder or email confirmation (whichever is provided by patient).
Payment Information All payments for services and merchandise are due at the time of service. Sonoma Roots accepts cash, check, and all major credit cards.
Health Insurance Although Dr. Danielle's services are not covered by insurance, some specialty labs are deeply discounted for insurance users. Patients are encouraged to call their insurance provider to see if reimbursement for Dr. Danielle's services is an option. If reimbursement is an option, inform Dr. Danielle at the time of the visit and she can provide the necessary super bill or paperwork for the patient to submit to their insurance provider.
HSA/Flex Spending Accounts HSA/FSA cards can be used for several of Dr. Danielle's naturopathic services and many of the prescribed treatments as long as sufficient funds are available in the patients account. Established naturopathic care will be required for proper assessment and coding required to successfully use HSA/FSA funds.
Return Policy Non-refrigerated apothecary products purchased at Sonoma Roots can be returned in an unopened condition and with the original receipt within 14 days of purchase. Patient-specific prescriptions, refrigerated items (probiotics, etc) and services rendered are nonrefundable and non-transferable.
Email Policies When emailing Dr. Danielle directly, please allow up to 3 business days for a response. If a concern requires immediate attention, please call Sonoma Roots and leave a message for Dr. Danielle with our front desk staff. Please keep in mind that responses requiring more than clarification of previous treatment plans or simple "yes" or "no" answers may require a follow-up visit for proper assessment and/or diagnosis.
